On 1 April (April fool's day) the Central Diversity Office will host the first Campus Connection Dinner for students and staff. The theme of the evening is humour. While enjoying free pizza, we will discuss questions such as: what role can humour play in an academic setting? And how do you handle it when humour is offensive?

The Campus Connection Dinner is an informal gathering where the CDO serves pizza and facilitates dialogue. The theme of the first dinner is when humour can hurt in academia. There will be a short comedy act and an academic presentation, followed by a dialogue about personal experiences with offensive humour in academia. Everyone is welcome to join in!
