Join us for the festive closing night of the finissage of the exhibition 'Who Owns the City?' During Reclaim Fest, VOX-POP transforms into a vibrant space of movement, expression and connection. We’ll explore questions around authority, access, and how we claim space in the city, with a festival-like setup across VOX-POP’s rooms. Come roam, chill, question and dance.

The programme

At the main stage, DJ Alexander Messiah sets the tone with music all evening long. Dance, chat, and grab a drink while surrounded by the exhibition Who Owns the City?—a collection that invites reflection on power, visibility, and how we shape our urban world.

Upstairs, you can watch Queer Grounds: still here, still queer - a documentary by Close-up member JuJu. The film explores the legacy of Café Lellebel and how queer communities claim space in changing cities. It reflects on presence, belonging, and how bodies in space can be powerful political acts.

Artist Hero will host a hands-on street art activity throughout the evening. No experience needed—just come ready to create and explore how street art becomes a form of resistance and self-expression.

Want to share your voice? Step up to the open mic stage! Whether you write poetry, sing, perform, or create kleinkunst, everyone is welcome to participate—no matter your background or experience. Sign up in advance or on the spot.

Need a break? Visit our cozy lounge corner to relax, recharge, and take it all in at your own pace.
