In a time where political space for minority voices is under pressure and mechanisms of exclusion are increasingly normalised, the question of effective resilience grows ever more urgent. How can space be reclaimed within a climate of marginalisation? And how can cultural expression serve as both shield and weapon? Join the conversation on ‘joy as resistance’ and experience a music-filled evening of solidarity at VOX-POP.

What defines resistance? While often associated with hardship, Latin American perspectives offer a different lens: joy as a decolonial act. Throughout history, art, music, and community-building have served as vital tools for solidarity and survival. This event invites students and staff to examine the intersections of joy and resistance. Join us for an open dialogue on these practices, followed by a workshop focused on rhythm and the power of communal connection.

Speakers and activities will be announced soon!
Entrance is free but due to a limited capacity we ask you to sign up in advance.
