In collaboration with VOXPOP, the Amsterdam Philosophy Association is delighted to present an interview featuring Jens Rummens, an enthusiastic philosophy student, engaging in conversation with Assistant Professor Michael Thomas. Thomas is known for his academic contributions such as: “Sensibility in Section 80: Kendrick Lamar’s Poetics of Problems” (2019) and “Reading the Sensual in James Baldwin’s Giovanni’s Room” (2023). In this intellectual exploration, Thomas will curate and discuss video fragments that have shaped his academic journey. Similar to the renowned Zomergasten format, Wintergasten invites you to delve into the mind of a distinguished scholar through carefully chosen fragments that encapsulate his scholarly contributions. Join us on the 27th of February!
