The Central Diversity Office at the University of Amsterdam is organising a supportive event for students and staff who are affected by the war in Iran. The gathering aims to create space for reflection, dialogue, and mutual support during a time of uncertainty and concern.

During the event, participants will have the opportunity to engage with a panel consisting of a study advisor, student psychologist, dean, and careers advisor. The panel will address both the practical and psychological impact of the current situation, including its effects on study progress, well-being, and career perspectives.

In addition, there will be room for participants to share their personal experiences with one another in a safe and respectful setting. The programme will also feature a musical interlude by Iranian vocalist and performer Sanam Tahmasebi, offering a moment of reflection through music.

The event is open to all University of Amsterdam students and staff but you need to sign up in advance.
