We launch this series to share research creatively, contribute to valorisation and inspire audiences with fresh insights from the humanities. Brainwave taps into current events and shows how young scholars contribute to contemporary social and cultural debates.
When
The first edition will take place on 6 February from 16:30 to 18:30 and will be curated by Madison Mackenzie, who completed a master's degree in comparative literature last year. The second edition will take place in April. We are still looking for substitutes for this year's June, October and December editions.
Do you have an idea?
Are you a master's or PhD student with an inspiring humanities topic that you would like to share through an interactive programme? We would love to hear from you! As a Brainwave creator, you will receive a small fee and a budget to realise your programme. Send your proposal or request for more information via voxpop@uva.nl. We are looking forward to your ideas!
