Contributors

Cox Janssens is an illustrator, animator, graphic designer, activist, muralist, podcast creator, and designs her own clothing. She works from her studio in the Keilewerf in Rotterdam (NL). Besides her visual work, she sings and plays guitar in her band Multifrüt. Through her work, Cox addresses issues close to her heart: animal treatment, our impact on climate change, and various social issues. With deep visual translations, she shows different perspectives on certain norms, hoping to spark curiosity.

Marcin is a music producer, technologist, and sound artist. Whether repairing tape recorders, mixing albums, or performing in VR, he finds inspiration exploring the intersections of music, technology, and the world. His first experience with cassette mixtapes came from his older sister’s collection. His artistic practice now includes working with fermentation data and designing his own systems for electronic music performances. He is curious about how we can reconnect with our environment and build stronger bonds through music creation. 'What really interests me is using sound to raise awareness of processes that are otherwise inaudible.' Marcin strongly believes that exploring and sharing music is the ultimate way to connect with others.

Suelae is an Antiguan artist of English and Guyanese descent. Through patchwork, collage, and embroidery, she creates textile artworks that speak about Caribbean stories and give voice to those often unheard. Her colorful patchwork style is inspired by the tropical environment and reflects the rich cultural fusion of the Caribbean. Her research often adopts an ethno-botanical approach, exploring the connection between people and nature and asking: who are Caribbean people at their roots? In a world where truth is often hidden or forgotten, Suelae uses mythology and imagination to recover lost Caribbean stories. By sharing collective knowledge, she explores the past to understand the present and hopefully create space for more compassion in the future. She currently lives in Rotterdam.
