For absolute beginners or those who have had some practice but want to try something new. From students to university professors, neighbours or administrators. This workshop is free, but limited to 20 spots.

If you participate in this workshop, you will have the chance to work on your mix and then play it live during one of the Big Toilet Radio livestream sessions.

About the hosts

Founded in late 2022 by Goy Tung and Eurico Sá Fernandes with the mission to highlight exceptional local talent and build up a community of underground music scene. It offers a platform for experimentation within the medium of radio by giving contributors total autonomy over their show’ s content and accepting proposals from anyone who has an interest in the medium. This approach leads to a vibrant lineup that embraces a variety of forms, including live performances, dj sets, talk shows, interviews, discussions, cooking shows and more.

Big Toilet livestreams every two weeks from their studio at Broedplaats De Vlugt in Slotermeer and occasionally organizes public events, these special editions are often held at cultural venues across the city of Amsterdam, and they allow us to connect directly with the audience and expand our reach. Over last year we had the privilege to host special events at W139, Neverneverland, Buurtwerktplaats Noorderhoof, De Vlugt garden, Butcher’ s Tears and De Sering.
